RYA Sailing Courses

Course name and ability after training:

A two day introduction to sailing when you will experience steering, sail and rope handling and be shown how to be safe onboard. These two days count towards your Competent Crew Certificate if you wish to do an additional three days sailing at a later date.

Competent Crew Sailing Course

A competent & useful crew member. A course for complete beginners.

Day Skipper Sailing Course

Skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day.
If you already have some sailing experience and theory knowledge and want to learn how to skipper a yacht, then this is the one for you.

Coastal Skipper Sailing Course

Skipper a yacht on coastal passages by day and night.
For more experienced sailors with at least 300 nautical miles under their Souwesters. Learn how to skipper a yacht by day and by night.

Own Boat Sailing Tuition

All the above on your own boat.
